If you are living a pre-ordained existence, then does GOD have a role to play?
You are more than willing to shell out bushels of moolah in the temple, but walk right past a blind man. What kind of justice is that?
There is a percentage of destiny in our lives and a percentage of freewill. So, its NOT 100% pre-ordained. I think , of all the explanations we have , the one offered by Hinduism is the best. Read up on karma.
what i believe in is not destiny but that God has a plan for each creation. i believe that if one is a believer of God then he should realize that good and bad things may happen in accordance to his plan.
i hope i didnt get to contest anybody's belief. i am speaking according to mine.

It is however an unfortunate thing that people do a lot of things in the name of religion, but wouldn't help someone cross the road.
