A 17 yr old hero

Afroz, the 17 yr old teenager from Hyderabad, proved that he was more than just a kindred soul. In the face of a crisis, this young chap does not hesitate to jump into action. He saved the life of this one-and-half-a-year-old boy Muzammil when the latter fell into a manhole and was fighting for his life.

Hearing the cries of the parents, Afroz peered into the manhole and heard the feeble cries of the boy. He immediately plunged into the five foot deep manhole and rescued the boy in the nick of time before the slushy waters swallowed the small child.

Instead of basking in the limelight, Afroz simply said that he has rescued missing children in the past and hopes to carry out bigger missions in the future.
